Des combats à la Empire Total War, c'est-à-dire ? Je n'y ai jamais joué. A quoi ressemblent-ils ?

Sur la guerre d'indépendance dans la version de 1994, je ne la trouve pas difficile à mener, bien au contraire. J'ai toujours attendu les renforts étrangers (du roi de France pour l'Angleterre et vice-versa et du roi d'Espagne pour les hollandais), et en attendant on essaie de bénéficier du bonus d'embuscade ( bonus égal à 2 fois le bonus de défense du terrain sur lequel se trouve les troupes du roi !)...

Qu'aimerais-je changer dans la version 2008 ?

- les navires sont trop lents et trop faibles. Sur l'eau, il ne se passe rien (il faudrait des événements aléatoires et/ou des aménagements sur l'eau du genre ruines antique ... mais sur l'eau. Et pourquoi pas des pirates ?)
- les impôts augmentent trop vite.
- la force expéditionnaire augmente trop vite (on l'a déjà dit)
- la diplomatie reste encore trop sommaire (même si elle a été considérablement améliorée)

Donc, vive les mods !
