J'ai découvert Civilization 4 Colonization en regardant l'actualité informatique sur Clubic : Informatique et Multimédia. Je ne connaissais pas le premier opus, mais, étant amateur de Civilization 4, et intéressé par les civilisations amérindiennes, mais aussi par la découverte et la colonisation de l'Amérique, j'ai précommandé le jeu avant sa sortie. Par conséquent, je possède Civ 4 Colonization depuis un mois maintenant. Mais au début, j'avais beaucoup de mal, dans ma première partie, je n'ai pas mis en place une bonne économie, et j'ai commencé la production de cloches de la Liberté beaucoup trop tard ; j'ai donc perdu par manque de temps. Dans ma deuxième partie, j'ai fait l'inverse : j'ai lancé la production de cloches très tôt, et, lorsque j'ai déclaré mon indépendance, le corps expéditionnaire royal comprenait environ 80 soldats, 60 dragons et 80 pièces d'artillerie... Et mon armée était minable ; j'ai arrêté la partie avant de subir une défaite écrasante. J'ai joué d'autres parties sans plus de succès. Alors, j'ai fait une recherche sur le forum de jeux-video.com ( Forum Civilization IV : Colonization sur JeuxVideo.com ) et j'ai découvert ce site. J'y ai trouvé de nombreuses stratégies et astuces, dont je remercie les auteurs (en particulier pajeg et hkr182) qui, après quelques essais, en les recoupant, m'ont permis de remporter ma première partie avec les Hollandais en pèlerin, marathon, sur une carte immense. J'ai pu développer une économie puissante, j'ai lancé la production de cloches au bon moment, vers le tour 600 (qui équivaut au tour 200 en mode normal), j'ai déclaré mon indépendance en 1720 et j'ai gagné en 1733, après avoir démoli l'armée royale [en utilisant la stratégie de hkr182 consistant à évacuer mes colonies (sauf celle produisant des armes et des chevaux, où je regroupe ma population civile) sans les avoir fortifiées, à laisser les troupes du roi entrer dans mes villes et, enfin, à attaquer avec mes canons très nombreux].
Je vais donc faire d'autres parties en augmentant le niveau de difficulté.

Je crois qu'on a tous fait les mêmes erreurs au début, surtout produire les cloches trop tôt. En tout cas content de savoir que les guides ont pu t'aider.
