Et bien c'est un comble, impossible de faire tourner un partie plus de quelques minutes (en fait cela varie entre 5 et 40mn).
Malgré le formatage de mon pc les symptomes persistent.
Le PC s'assombrit, puis se met en veille sans possibilité de retrouver le contrôle et enfin s'éteint.
En réappuyant sur le bouton On/Off de mon portable, il se relance en ayant conservé toutes les applications et présente une fenêtre d'info crash pour Colonization, avec ce message :

J'ai pensé à un problème d'alimentation mais après avoir inséré ma batterie, pas de changement.
Je soupçonne une surchauffe de ma carte graphique.
Si quelqu'un à une idée ....
Et bien mince alors... Ça ressemble au problème que j'avais avec le mien de portable... Et là il s'agissait bien d'une surchauffe. Avant de l'envoyer en réparation, j'ai constaté qu'il y avait de nombreux forums sur " l'underclocking ". Il conseillaient parfois de ralentir la cadence de la carte graphique (au détriment de la qualité, évidemment) pour éviter qu'ell surchauffe.
Sinon, as-tu essayé de mettre les graphismes en basse qualité? Avec mon vieil ordinateur, j'ai dû tout mettre au minimum (par contre ne désactive surtout pas les graphismes des unités car c'est injouable!). C'est affreux mais ça marche...
Je ne sais pas comment ralentir la cadence de la carte. As-tu des pistes à suivre ?
Graphisme basse qualité ne change rien. Me voilà bien.

Il y a bien des liens sur internet, mais je ne sais pas dans quelle mesure on peut s'y fier. Et surtout ça peut peut-être changer d'une carte graphique à une autre.
Je ne sais pas si ça aide. Visiblement le logiciel "ntune" a l'air de faire cela. Mais je ne sais pas si ça règlera le problème. Côté matériel, je suis vite largué...
Bon, il semble que j'ai réussi à trouver l'origine de ma panne.
A vrai dire les symptômes se sont aggravés puisque mon portable plantait même sans lancer Col.
Il s'agissait bien d'une surchauffe, mais du processeur.
Conclusion : j'ai passé l'aspirateur sur les orifices (ventilo et autres) et j'ai placé une cale sous mon pc.
J'ai tenté une partie (sans la jouer pour autant). Le ventilateur tourne plus vite mais il ne s'emballe plus comme précedement et surtout n'a pas planté. Testé sur 1h20, à la sortie du jeu, le ventilo se clame.
