D'abord, il s'est installé sans aucun problème en 2h.

Installer Directx9 WinE Winetriks etc, c'est super facile quand on a un tutorial dédié à ca.

Bien qu'une nouvelle distribution de Ubuntu sorte à la fin du mois, je recommande ubuntu :
Après l'installation du powerpack de Mandriva, j'ai eu une somme incroyable de galères pour installer les drivers de ma bécane.
L'installation de Ubuntu à pris l'ensemble en charge. J'invite les futur Linuxiens à essayer Ubuntu.

Bonjour! Après avoir trouvé les guides très utiles et jouant sous GNU/Linux Ubuntu avec Wine, je vous communique la façon dont je m'y suis pris.

En fait j'avais déjà installé Civ4BTS (la gold edition avec les 2 extensions) et donc Civilization 4 : Colonization ne m'a rien demandé de spécial pour l'installation.

Pour Civ4 j'avais utilisé ces dll : msxml3.dll ainsi que toutes les d3d9x.dll et ça fonctionne! Si vous êtes dans mon cas et que vous n'avez que Linux utilisez un site de dll ou procurez les vous chez une connaissance
J'utilise la version 1.1.7 de Wine mais depuis la 1.0 je n'ai plus vraiment de problèmes.

Je lance le jeu comme suis pour éviter les logs et accélérer le jeu (ne le faites qu'une fois que le jeu se lance, quand on a du mal à le lancer les logs sont très pratiques pour débugger)

Les bugs dans le jeu sont mineurs (et identiques à civ4) la vue du globe est à moitiée cachée par un voile noir (mais les colonies sont visibles) mais surtout on ne voit pas la progression des constructions en cours (dans civ4 on peut afficher des chiffres à partir des options mais ici cette option n'est pas dispo )

Voilà : bon jeu sous Linux! Personnellement je joue aussi à Diablo,warcraft3,civ4,spore (mais les DRM m'empêchent d'avoir accès au contenu internet) et Sacred Gold
