Et oui vous l'attendiez tous ce petit post pour savoir comment bien commencer et faire la différence dès le début.

Tout d'abord je joue en mode marathon ce qui permet de jouer plus longtemps.

Pour commencer je sauvegarde la partie dès le début et je visite bien le coin. Une fois une bonne partie de la région découverte je réfléchis bien aux endroits ou je vais pouvoir poser 3 colonies : la 1ère histoire de poser les bagages, la 2 ème pour faire un max de nourriture et la 3 ème pour faire une marchandise en particulier ou même 2 (sucre, coton, fourrures ou tabac).

Ensuite j'abandone : et on remercie les développeurs pour cet étrange abandon. Quand vous abandonnez vous aurez non seulement la carte entière mais en plus vous pourrez voir en gros ou les autres puissances s'installent (mais en recommençant rien ne dit qu'ils vont s'intaller exactement au même endroit). Perso je fais un imprim écran et je le colle dans paint histoire de m'y retrouver.

Et c'est reparti je reprend donc ma sauvegarde pour aller le plus vite possible installer ma première colonie.
J'expédie mes colons de ma barque et je la renvoie aussitôt en europe. Et là j'achète direct un éclaireur aguéris (en général y en a un prêt à être engagé). Si jamais autour de votre première colonie y a des ruines ou cimetierres envoyez votre soldat dessus histoire d'avoir qq sous en plus. Comme ça vous achetez un autre colon et vous l'équipez de chevaux.
Hop on embarque et on envoie tout ça sur le nouveau monde. Et là de préférence je débarque un éclaireur à côté de ma colonie et l'autre plus dans le coin ou les autres puissances devraient s'établir.
Et là mes amis faut faire la razzia sur les ruines les cimetierres et parler en premier avec toutes les tribues. Attention car même au niveau pionnier, les anglais sont assez rapides et risquent de vous en chipper quelques uns.
Au début tout le monde il est beau tout le monde il est gentil donc vous ne vous ferez pas attaquer sauf à de rares occasions en visitant certains cimetierres. Donc tous les trésors que vous récupérerez vous pourrez les stocker en bord de mer en attendant que vous ayez assez pour acheter un gallion, ce qui devrait arriver assez rapidement si vous vous dépêchez.
N'oubliez pas il est possible de mettre 6 trésors sur un seul gallion ...

Après tout ça vous aurez quelques sous pour investir dans quelques colons et/ou vous acheter une scierie dans votre première colonie.

C'est une très bonne méthode qui n'a qu'une faiblesse, elle ne marche pas en multijoueur contre d'autres joueurs.

C'est sur, n'ayant eu que colonization en version dos je n'ai jamais joué en multi-joueur.
Par contre maintenant toutes les unités peuvent aller parler aux tribues. A essayer prendre un éclaireur et lui donner des mousquets et voir si il peut toujours se ballader de tribue en tribue. Si oui non seulement il va gagner en expèrience mais les autres joueurs vont hésiter à attaquer n'ayant eux-même surement pas beaucoup d'unités en début de partie.

Je n'en démord pas, je reste sur ma stratégie de départ :

1er tour :

- acoster et débarquer ses deux colons

2ème tour :

- fonder colonie, charger outils et mousquets dans caravelle et vendre au village proche (se fait sur le même tour, soit 3000 de gain mini), ce qui permet d'acheter pas mal de colons que l'on équipe en chevaux et mousquets pour les revendre aux indiens et ainsi de suite...

Bref, ça booste le départ et permet d'accumuler pas mal de pts commerce qui plus est

En mode facile, je recherche la colonie de départ des adversaires afin de les réduire à néant avec mon soldat de départ (en effet, l'IA intègre systématiquement le soldat de départ à la colonie ; plus de défense en début de partie !) et comme ca, le problème de la concurrence est réglée

en multi les joueurs n'integrent pas spécifiquement leurs unités dans la colonie. j'ia fais la connerie de capturer quelques petits colons avec mon soldat, mais apres le dernier qui devait me rapporter la ville j'ai été un peu zigouillé. Au tour suivant, mon adverssaire revaenait d'europe avec 2beau soldat tout frais sur ma colonie.
