Je sais que je suis un peu en retard, mais mieux vaut tard que jamais.

Donc voici le premier patch pour notre Colonization qui corrige pas mal de bugs. Une mise à jour qui intègre de surcroît le fameux exécutable PitBoss.

Pour ceux qui ont joué à la version de base et à la version patchée, pensez vous que cela simplifie le jeu dans sa partie guerre d'indépendance.

Je ne veux pas faire le prétentieux mais maintenant que je suis rodé (ca fait quand meme un moment que je joue) si je veux un peu de challenge il faut que je joue en patriote (ou révolutionnaire évidemment) sinon je suis quasiment certain de remporter la partie.

Du coup si le patch simplifie les choses je ne suis pas sur que ca m'intéresse.

Il me semble que cela fait très longtemps que tu n'as pas envoyé de message sur le forum... Tu es donc de retour ?

En effet, pour un vétéran comme toi, le jeu est sans doute assez facile. Il est tout-à-fait dommage que les autres nations européennes ne soient pas à la hauteur. L'I.A. n'a jamais déclaré l'indépendance lors de mes parties.

Alors, oui peut-être le patch rend le jeu légèrement plus facile. Mais, je ne pense pas que ce soit l'essentiel. Il corrige vraiment certaines erreurs de programmation. Je pense qu'il faut l'installer absolument. Si tu veux corser le jeu, il faut se tourner du côté des mods...Mais, se limiter au jeu sans patch, cela ne me paraît pas une bonne idée. Du moins, c'est mon avis.

Ca m'est arrivé quelques fois, ce doit un problème de niveau.

Je te rejoins R. Surcouf, le patch est incontournable. Il corrige des points plus qu'essentiels. Le jeu n'est pas plus facile et moins incohérent lors de la guerre d'indépendance par exemple.

Merci pour vos retours.

Effectivement ça faisait un bail que je n'avais plus participé sur le forum, mais je n'ai jamais arrête de joué à Colonization, il faut dire que je suis accros!

Vous m'avez convaincu d'installer le patch. J'avais tellement entendu de plaintes au niveau du nombre d'unité du roi que je craignais d'avoir pour unique correction une réduction de ses effectifs.

Je pense aussi m'installer un mod un de ces quatre, mon problème c'est que je suis tellement attaché à l'original, j'ai tellement d'habitudes que du coup je met toujours ça à plus tard.

C'est vrai que les autres nations européennes sont assez bidon. En générales elles servent juste à me faire des vétérans et des colonies supplémentaires. Je les ai très rarement vu déclarer leur indépendance et à chaque fois elles se prenaient une rouste.
