Il me semble que nous avons "perdu" la possibilité pour un éclaireur de rentrer dans une colonie d'une autre nation en espion ou d'y fomenter une révolte ?
Idem pour un missionnaire chez les indiens de les inciter à la guerre contre autre colonie. dans ce second point, c'est remplacé par une option diplomatie, encore un peu limitée, amis tellement plus développée qu'avant !

Oui, je suis tout-à-fait d'accord, c'est dommage d'avoir perdu ces fonctionnalités. Mais, il est vrai aussi que la diplomatie s'est améliorée.

Mais, il y a un des points qui a été amélioré et que je trouve très intéressant, même s'il peut passer totalement inaperçu: c'est la possibilité d'avoir plusieurs unités sur une même case (appartenant à une nation différente). Avant c'était impossible. Sur une carte d'Amérique, je "m'amusais" à poster un dragon en pleine Amérique centrale, ce qui empêchait l'I.A. de passer du nord au sud (ou vice-versa) par voie terrestre. A l'inverse, j'ai dû parfois déclarer la guerre simplement pour traverser une case. C'est aussi valable pour toutes les versions de civilization jusqu'à la version 3 (inclus)!
De même, un bateau qui atteignait une colonie terminait son tour. On ne pouvait pas, en un seul tour, traverser plusieurs colonies. C'était particulièrement pénible.

Pour ce genre de détails, la dernière version est nettement meilleure !
